The helmet does have some lines on one side of the helmet that look like some sort of pencil or marking pen, should come off with a good cleaning. The helmet retains about 90 % of it's original od gren paint and cork finish with very minor rust.

The helmet liner is made by inland has the original paint and od brown hbt. Webbing and original ww2 sweat band and ww2 nape strap and.
