Early wwii m1 helmet w/ liner d-day artillery. You are biddign on a wwii m1 helmet with liner. The helmet was issued in 1943 and according to the son of hte original owner, it was worn during the d-day invasion at normandy. The helmet has the crossed cannons insignia of army artillery. The helmet has the band seam in the front and has fixed strap rings.
The liner believed to be original to the helmet, has stripes that are visible on the inside. The webbign is gone. I am including several photos of the item and i am selling sa is.
